I just fixed an angle grinder I had and came across something, well...different.
The cord was bad so it was a simple swap. The strange thing is that the cord that went bad had a three prong molded plug but there were only two wires in the cable. The grinder is double insulated and there is no place to put an ECG if I wanted to so I used a polarized two conductor cord and all is now well.
Has anyone else seen a two conductor cord on a molded three conductor plug?
I kept it as a souvenir slash oddity item.
