Mistake in a UL Listing?

A number of the wire fill numbers for #10 are wrong...it looks like they may have been using an incorrect value for the cross sectional area of the #10s.

A "Senior Tecnical Sales Rep" at Wiremold/Legrand answered my emailed request for confirmation or correction of the charts, and his response was:

"The wire fill capacity charts for 5400 and 5500 are both correct. The wire capacities are actual maximum fills in nonmetallic Raceways. This is based on heat rise testing as required by UL for nonmetallic Raceways."

ME: "So what you are saying is that I can fill the wireways with more 10AWG conductors than I can with 14AWGs?"

Wiremold Rep: "As strange as it may seem this is correct. The wire capacity is reduced to allow for proper conductor bend radius and maximum permissible heat rise.
The wire capacity testing for these raceways is performed based on the guidelines that UL provides."

I still don't understand how you can put (60 ea) 10AWG conductors where you can only put (50 ea) #14's.
