Mitsubishi PLC

The whole story is a novel but the short story is that I am now working on elevators and escalators but still working with controls.
So the question is, do any of you work with Mitsubishi PLCs? I need to make some adjustments in timing and the ( industry) says it is outdated and needs to be replaced. It is an FY-48MR-UAI. Is there any aftermarket hardware and software support.

I looked for similar information a few years ago. Zero. There are companies that will buy it from you.

Install a new system. Make sure it isn't already on the way out, if that is possible.

Are you sure it is not an FX-48MR-UAI? I bought a handheld programmer for the FX series on ebay for $200.00 to change some timer values a couple of years ago.

Yes, it is the FX. Tough days when you can't even transcribe your own writing. I have found some programing called Melsoft but having trouble pinning anything specific down. I believe it is out there, just need to find.
