I'm inspector in large manufactory fallacies. We have large MC Cable for normal power feeders in cable tray to transfer switch with emergency power.
I need to know if MC Cable branch circuits can share a common cable tray normal and emergency power.

Is it really emergency power or optional standby?
Makes a difference.

To clarify, a system is only called "emergency" if it involves equipment that some code or governmental authority requires it to have that classification. Egress lighting is a common example. What equipment is fed from the other-than-normal cables?
