Mixing Emergency and Normal Power

Article 700-9(b) "Wiring shall be kept entirely independent of other wiring and equipment."
In everyone?s opinion in a situation where there is a normal power and emergency power switch shown in the same box, would a barrier in the box comply with this section or would the two switches need to be in separate boxes?

The two places permitted for both systems to be in the same enclosure is the transfer switch and the emergency lighting. I don't know if this has been changed or not.

Nick, yes, a barrier would comply, look at 370-28(d).
