The big question is, are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Depending on where you are located, you may or may not be allowed to perform this work legally.

According to state statutes in N.C., if you are not state licensed you would be doing this work illegally and would not be able to pull a permit in the first place.

Then when you pull the permit, I would say the insurance company's concern would be a moot issue.
