I have an electric hot water heater (State PCE40-2LS) that has been upgraded to 2 6000W elements (12kW)
It is wired to run on 3 Phase, unbalanced, 240 V, SIMULTANEOUS.
I can not find a MOCP rating on the heater or the manufacturers website in a spec sheet.
I have a 3 pole, 60 Amp breaker going to it.

Am I good to go with either #8 or #6 copper; or should I downsize to a 50 Amp breaker?

TY,

Steven
