Typically the design for campus primary transformers (where the campus is primary metered, so the system is considered a feeder) involves the secondary conductors running from the transformer into the building to the MOCP.
The was a code requirement (I believe in the 1990 or 1993 edition) where overcurrent protection for the feeders was required outside (in the secondary compartment) before it entered into the building. It was then changed back in the next code cycle.
Could you tell me where that requirement could be found in the old code? I would like to refer to it for a report that I am writing where this was applied.
