In all the years of posting here, this is the first time I've taken issue with a moderator. I admire the job they do, especially considering the pay :D.
I must say I was a little taken back by bphgravity in the now closed thread about IAEI membership.
He chose to entitle the thread "IAEI Membership: A Value That Is Unmatched", then when negative comments are made he ducks and runs directing all comments to IAEI and stating his intent to was to announce a fee change.
I missed the thread title "IAEI-Fee Change"
Bryan, don't start the fire if you don't like the heat!

Anyone starting a thread is allowed to request it closed if they want to, by contacting a moderator. BP just used that option.

I agree with Dennis.

Gus if you have a problem with how Bryan dealt with that particular thread please send him a PM.

I am closing this thread.

Well Gus,

All I can say is too bad. It was my topic to open and my topic to close, moderator or not. I posted this message from the IAEI on 5 different professional forums and this one was the only one to go in a direction I did not intend for it to go.

If you feel like commenting on IAEI issues, start your own thread or respond in the one recently opened named "IAEI - pro and con".

After nearly six years of visiting this Forum and after posting 6,400 times, I find your questioning of my integrity unfounded. I assure you I can handle "the heat" of any discussion.

Please save your complaints for something where you have at least a little substantiation...
