I tried to search on the NEC if there would be a specific section that prohibits to drill a hole in an electrical enclosure but I couldn't find one.
Some said that it would be the AHJ who will decide if the drilled holes would be acceptable or not since UL will not be able to determine if there is any modification on the equipment once it was shipped out.
Anyone who have an insight on this ?
