Hi all, Need to give a prelim quote for a two story, 3bed, 2.5 bath and laundry room. 3300 sq ft. modular. I did a smaller one a few years ago and it had the service to do and they give you the panel, breakers, and wires all labeled, j-boxes to connect in the attic and basement. The extras were wiring the basement and all the mechanicals. Am I missing anything? Thanks

No , unless thier is a garage or some thing built where your meter is to go.

I always specifically write a clause into contracts for modulars that we do stating that any time spent trouble shooting modular wiring will be an additional cost. If there's worse wiring out there than what's in a modular, I have yet to come across it.

Good move. We do lots of modulars, and most of them require some repair work to get `em right!

We had one particular model that had a dead short in the same place in more than one unit. Seems they double-fed a hall light, and the same error was made multiple times. Probably wired by the same idiot in the factory ....
