so, I was able to review my last test and found a few question that just are giving me issues I'll try to keep this clean and easy to follow and as always I do appreciate the assistance?
1)
60-amp branch circuit supplying fluorescent lights requires what size conductor?
14awg/12awg/10awg/8awg
ok so in 210.23(E)branch circuits over 50 amp shall supply only nonlighting loads. Where it doesn't mention copper or aluminum I go to copper in 310.16 and see #6.
I go to article 410 and don't find anything referencing a situation like this. What am I missing.
2)Smallest service disconnect for a 1 family with 1 or 2 circuits? option was 100amp,60amp,40amp, and 50amp
for this I go to 230.79 1 family dwelling 230.79(A) one circuit is 15amps. (B) is two circuit and 30amps (C) one family at 100amps (D) is all others not less than 60
I answered it with the 100 amp and that was wrong. would it be (D) since it's not a one or two circuit being defined?
3)1000 amp run in 3 parallel runs of 500 copper what is the max size concrete encased GEC? the option is 4awg,1awg,2/0awg and 3/0awg, but I used table 250.66 over 350 through 600 and it should be 1/0.
4) 5 motors on a crane each motor must by what % of the load 1/3, ¼, 1/5, 1/2, this I actually found but now I can't seem to locate it again I believe its 1/3.
I have a few more but I don't want to abuse you folks good nature.
