motion light problem

i have 3 motion lights, they are all hooked to the same switch in the garage. the problem is that when i turn the switch on at least one of the lights will stay on all the time even during the day. they all have photo cells in them and i have tryed many different numbers of fliping ON & OFF the dame switch with no luck one is always on.. any suggestions please???

If it's the same fixture every time, it's obviously the fixture. If it's a different one each time, it's the particalar model; change them.

Most motion sensors have override functions activated by repeated switch flipping. Be careful about not activating the functions.

I agree that you have a bad motion sensor unless there is a bypass switch on the motion sensor that is on.

Even test mode should shut it off until there is motion. I was thinking a by-pass switch on the sensor to override the motion.
