240.4(D) references 240.4(G) which allows you to use 310.16 ampacities keeping 110.14 in mind. If your terminations allow 75?, then you may use that column for Art 430 applications.
(the #10 would be allowed)
I use 430.22a to determine conducor size. 125% of FLC of 28 amps. equals 35 amps. Can I use the 75deg C column from 310-16 to size my wire which is 35 amps? Or does it need to be at 30 amps from 240.4, which would require me to use #8 instead of #10. Thanks

If my wires are installed underground in conduit I believe I need to use the 75deg C column?

430.22(A) leeds to 430.6(A)(1) also look at the tables that start at 430.247.
Remember your FLA is 35 amps look at 310.16 table #10 75deg =35 amps if you use #10 you would be loading it at 100% remeber the 80% rule that i can not find right now:grin: so i would go with # 8![]()
Could you kindly send me a "link" to down load 430,240 etc?.
