How do I go about size conductors and protection devices for a dry type sprinkler systems air compressor motor? Do I size it as per the name plate or do I have to size it special for a fire system?

Size it per Art. 430, just like any other motor. Check your job specs, though. There might be requirements as to the source, breaker locks, etc.
