Motor connection box clearances

Is there a required clearance in front of a motor connection box for access?

While the NEC does not specifically tell us, it would be a really good idea to have access to the termination box.:wink:

I'm not sure but think only Osha means of egress would apply,,,,,,,,,,are you speaking of a motor in some sort of enclosure?

IMO no clearance beyond what it takes to make the connection is required.
