Does anyone know of any code reference stating that you have to enter a multi-section MCC in the section where the conductors terminate? I know I have had this spec. on gov't. jobs, but I am currently adding to an existing private institution and my boss says it is code to do so. I feel that, when bolted together, the top and bottom horizontal chases become an approved raceway. BTW it is an AB Centerline MCC.
