I've been doing explicitly service work for the past few years and it has gotten me really interested in industrial motor controls. I know most of the basics and can troubleshoot most of what I come into contact with at the level of knowledge and experience that I have.
That being said, I know I'm lacking in true expertise in controls because I only come across MCCs and industrial applications every 6 mo or so. Does anyone know of a great motor control school or program in Texas that could give me a little more knowledge and hands on with the stuff?
I've read "Industrial Motor Controls" by Stephan Herman but without putting my hands on something the knowledge fades after awhile.
Also anyone know of any companies around Central Texas that do a lot of control work?
