I have worked with the jouneyman in some motorcontrol applycations were we feed condensate pumps and 3phase sump pumps.He did explain to me how the starters work but did not have enough time to go in detail I would like to learn more about motor controll is their any videos that i could buy that could teach me about starters and controll panels?

Some free info, but you really should buy the book Motor controls, its orange and filled with good info.

Good links. About all you really need to know is in those 3 if you ask me.

We have Richard A Cox's book in the shop for apprentices, it does the job also.
