I am trying to size the feeders for an 800 Hp motor and a 1000 Hp motor.
The NEC requires that you use the table 430-250 when sizing the feeder
conductor for motors.
The table only goes up to 500 Hp, in this case are you allowed to use the
nameplate ampere and multiply it by 125% to obtained the feeder conductor
size?
