Given a motor feeder circuit breaker (motor branch-circuit short-circuit and ground-fault protection) with a 120VAC shunt trip coil.
Is the shunt trip circuit subject to 430.75.
Part of me says "of course". The other guy
says "no, the motor control circuit controls the motor controller, and the breaker is not part of the controller or motor control circuit."
If 430.75 does not require a disconnect for the shunt trip wiring, what NEC sections do?
