anyone know any good books or websites that describe motor inrush? im wondering what the rules are about inrush current. i rented a tile cutting saw and put it on a receptacle that shares the same circuit as florecent lights. when i turn the saw on the lights shut off for a half second or so. i understand whats happening with that but i want to know the theory behind it.
