I need to wire some three phase motors that cannot be "bumped" or run backward for any period of time to check rotation. On the equipment specs. it says that phase A has to be connected to L1, phase B to L2, ect. Can this be done useing a standard motor rotation / phasing detector (I have never used one before, only seen them). This is for a Geothermal heat system where the pump is enclosed and out of view inside the unit. Any recomendations?
