NEC 430.52(C)(3) Exception No. 2 refers to increasing the setting of an instantaneous trip circuit breaker to the ?value marked on the controller.? When and why was this added to the Code? Can you give me a link to the original proposal. Can anyone tell me a specific (manufacturer and model number) starter that has a circuit breaker setting marked on the controller. I have not seen one.
