Motor Thermostat Wiring

The P1/P2 leads within the motor junction box are typically connected through the stop or enable control logic. Below is an example of the soft starter wiring is attached. My question is would #14AWG conductors be appropriate and could this control wiring be routed with the power wiring as long as the insulation rating is the same.

The only ones I have done were thermal switches and were non-power limited Class 1 circuits, with the circuit supplied by the control power transformer in the starter enclosure. Those conductors can be installed in the same raceway as the motor power circuit.
