I would assume that the journeyman's test requires a working knowledge of motor calculations in their entirety. Start with Article 230. A google search should greatly help answer all of your questions. There are too many good articles out there to try and reiterate them here. You can also just go to Mike Holt's main site and peruse a lot of information.
