Motors in heating/cooling air ducts

I've asked this question before back on Sept 6th and got no replys, so I'll ask it again and try to be more clear. Does NEC allow fan motors to be mounted inside of duct work? First, for equipment cooling purposes only. Then for human heating and cooling comfort purposes.

Are you talking about "booster fans"? If so I would think there wouldn't be a problem as they make ones that are "Listed" for that use. (the ones I have used are listed anyway)
