Steve,
I'm starting a new group of students in motors, controllers and disconnects. Most of them know very little basic electricity. How deep do I get into the subject and where can I find basic information for overheads and handouts.

The Mike Holt Basic Electrical Theory book is a good resource for this. There are also videos available with this training package.
