Mounting duplex and l6-20R receptacle boxes

Does the code contain specific requirements for receptacle box mounting? i have a project where the boxes are connected with MC cable and are lying loose under a raised floor. i recommend securing them to the wood deck or the cabinet. i would like to be able to require if i can locate it in the NEC. i have looked in 300.15 and in 110 but havent come across any hard requirement.
