Hey everyone first time post here Greetings
We are moving about 20 circuits out of a bathroom mix of Knob and tube as well as older romex
What options are there when customer doesnt want existing panel to stay with a large steel cover over it ( turn old panel to j-box)and ceiling is drywall
We could cut the drywall mount box-- or boxes 20 circuits to work P anel circuits moved about 15 ft out bath to new area
Service will be changed to accomedate a Disconnect means outside

After inspector leaves customer may drywall area over

If a majority of the circuits go to an accessible attic/crawl space/basement, install j boxes there.

An once the owner mentions that to the inspector, or word gets around after a future problem, you can expect some very interesting and thorough inspections.

Thanks Augie for the reply existing panel is in a bathroom thats in a basement typical property after construction
install a bath with shower at panel location
Drywall celing still cut out to pull circuits out of bath to panel 15 away in basement
