Hello, In about 7 months I will be moving to California. I have a Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah Journeyman Electrical License and A Colorado Masters and Contractors License. I need information on what California License I need if I want to go to work for an Electrical Contractor in the State of California. Thanks (btw: the enter key does not work on this forum.)

Basicly you need a California Journeyman's card. It costs about $200 and is good for 3 years. It should be permanent like lawyers and doctors have. You don't forget this stuff.

True, but you also have to learn new stuff as codes change and new technology emerges. An actively working licensee will either take Continuing Education hours or just learn about new thing as he goes. Someone who is not using their license may not.
