Moving to Hawaii from Massachusetts

Hello all,

My family and I are currently looking at the possibility of moving to Hawaii from Massachusetts, I am a licensed Journeyman Electrician currently. My question is about obtaining a license to work in Hawaii once we move there. I am also looking for information about joining the local IBEW there as I am currently not enrolled where I live now.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated, also not sure if this belongs on the part of the forum, sorry if I posted this in the incorrect area.

Before you move there I would apply for the license and get approved to test, as you'll need experience verification forms signed by your current employer and possibly collage transcripts or other apprentiship documents that show you comply with their strict 288 hour 'coursework' requirement.
