Man were you right! I'm sure you remember my "Fred Flinstone" theory about whether it's easier to pull a twisted cable assembly or individual (un-twisted) conductors through a 90...
Well, I started to un-twist the 4/0 SER cable today and I remembered your claim!
Sure enough, the twisted cable went through MUCH easier!

Just wanted to give credit where credit is due!

Re: Mr. iwire

Thank you Dave, that is darn nice of you to say so. :)

Glad it worked out, 4/0 SER through a 90 was a pretty good test.

Thanks, Bob

Re: Mr. iwire

I just knew one of Bob's 9000 posts would be of some value!!! :p

I think an award is due. Something like the "Most Prolific Forum Poster of the Century Award".

Re: Mr. iwire

Now, you can't kick up any more dust along these lines until he hits 10,000 posts.

So, we'll be back to this thread in two weeks. :D

Re: Mr. iwire

I can't type well enough to have that many posts if it were my full time job. :)

I'd like to add that I've learned a lot from reading many of his posts. Often with respect to what I thought I knew well.
