Iwas wondering what the benefit of going through the MSHA card class and gettinga MSHA card? I work in a gold mine that doesn?t require it, but to get higher paygrades they do require it.

You answered your own question The benefit for you is higher pay.
The benefit for both you and your employer is knowledge of safety procedures that might prevent a lost time accident.
