These days architects love to have walls of glass. So much electrical is required at doors such as exits, emergency lighting, card readers, door operators and so on. Are there junction boxes designed for glass mullions for these applications? I m pretty sure I have seen them for card readers especially but how about exit signs and emergency lights?

Without examples of the glass you're talking about I can't comment. Is there any aluminum framework like the usual storefront? You seem to be mostly talking about low voltage anyway which makes things easier since you really don't need junction boxes (except for exit signs). If you are talking about receptacles, this is commercial so you don't have to put any there. Otherwise use floor boxes.
