I thought I seen somewhere in the code that required handle ties on breakers. I ran bk,r,bl,w x 2 with a ground to a J box and came out with 6 2wire mc cables I did not use handle ties on 6 single pole breakers is there any violation?

It's compliant so long as there are no receptacles served that have two circuits on the same yoke, and no line-to-line loads.

See 210.4 and 210.7.
