Hello All,
I have a project that at the moment it is stuck in the permit office and I need some help.
Los Angeles CA AHJ is LADBS.
I'm installing a 5 gang meter combo with a 60A main breaker for each unit. the load calculation for each unit came out to 23.7Amps
so we are going up tp 60amps.
the part number I'm using is MP55-125. This has a max of 125A per unit, the meter socket is rated at 400A.
The question the city is asking is the size of the feeders? code for optional calculation demand factor for three or more. table 220.84 . siads that 3-5 units will be @45%
so
unit #1 60A
unit #2 60A
unit #3 60Ax45%=27A
unit #4 60Ax45%=27A
unit #5 60Ax45%=27A
total 201A for all units. is this correct????????
