so NECA says you should apply multi story labor factor for buildings over 3 stories. If you had a 33 story building then you should add 1-2% for the labor on the 30 floors. I've always done 1%. So Let's say I have 9,000 for each one of the 30 floors that would be 270,000 so 1% would be 2,700 hours added. Do you guys apply these labor factors? There's obviously more time spent installing items on higher floors .....getting the material there.

good luck with one percent. 33 story building... say two manlifts....

if there is a building in that range near where you are located,
get a hardhat, and vest, and tour the facility. go up to one of the
higher levels, and then jump between floors a few times. notice
how long you wait for the manlift. now, make sure you are doing
it when they are stocking a floor with something or another. drywall
is good... make sure to allow for the fact that when you are trying
to move a push cart or gang box between floors, you may have to
wait for two or three passes to get room for you.

be sure to pack a lunch. spend a half day waiting on that manlift.
then decide how much time to allow in that bid.
