I have an existing multi wire 12/3 circuit to a kitchen that is not being touched except for new receptacles. 1 leg feeds kitchen counter top outlets. 2d leg feeds the refrigerator. 2014 code.
So if i am reading this right I shouldn't need AFCI because it's existing correct? So is a two pole GFCI breaker the way to go? Or a two pole combination so they would have AFCI? The panel is GE with THQL breakers if that matters
Right now the have 1 leg fed from the main panel and the other leg fed from a sub panel(generator) which I have to fix anyhow
