2 questions. #1. On a multifamily dwelling, (5-plex) can you use the 6 disconnect rule skip a main and use the individual disconnects provided on a meter bank?

#2. Same 5-plex detached garage, I assume exterior lights shall be provided by each service door, correct?

Thanks for the criticism. Sometimes a guy is just looking for a little reassurance on the obvious.

Hendrix, where I come from the majority of the people look at a license as just a title. I have seen a handful of apprentices pass and have trouble wiring a 4-way switch. The President of the U.S. is a title and look at what "W" gave us for 8 years. Lesson learned I will keep the obvious questions to myself and post more challenging ones in the future.

all questions here are "good", yours, mine and Hendrix's. I've asked some that make me feel silly, but they were important to me at the time. Fork's question may very well have just been that: a "question", no criticism. Many areas have certain restrictions on ownership, some have none or little. There may be other journeymen out here that would like to own their own business and simply wonder where that is possible.
