Hi all
I have an old Multilin 269Plus relay in a GE Limit Amp 4160V MCC which is being used to run a new compressor. We're having an issue with the Analog Output of the relay, which is showing close to 4.23mA with the load off, main contactor not pulled in. The FLA is 212A. New 300:5 CTs are installed. The reading is giving an error of ~5A running current to the equipment HMI, which will inevitably restrict the capacity of the unit.
We've double checked the grounding of the shielded cable between relay and equipment. We've checked the relay settings and set up. We've driven 4-20mA from our own source to the equipment to verify the scaling is good. We've used the test function of the relay to simulate 4-12-20mA which show the same ~4.23mA out with the Analog Output canoe disconnected. And I've put a clamp on the ungrounded CT terminations into the relay to see if there's something there that shouldn't be, reading 0A across each.
There's no way to recalibrate this setting from what I can see. I was hoping some of you might have an idea I haven't had yet.
Thanks for reading.
