Hi Guys,
Can I run a fiber patch cable if it is riser rated in cable tray or conduit indoors? I'm not limited to a rack, right. Confused a bit by the word "patch" in the description, but I assume I can run it a long distance~ 100 ft. It's got LSZH cable jacket material with OFNR cable jacket rating. The fiber is made form glass, PVC jacket.

Thank you,
EE

Functionally, there's no reason not to. Conduit could be tricky. A patch cable will have terminated ends that you'll have to pull through. Also, watch out to avoid tight bends.
I don't know of any code reason not to do it either, but I don't know the 700 Articles as well as I probably should.

We don't have fiber termination equipment, so we run cables with made-up ends all the time in our facility. It is always in orange innerduct, so there's plenty of protection.

Patch cable is descriptive of the construction style of the cable. Since its riser rated you're fine unless the cable tray is going somewhere a plenum cable would be required. Bigger question is what else is in the tray, patch cable fiber is more fragile than distribution type, so you want to make sure someone doesn't go pull a MC cable or something else that could damage the fiber. Generally you want to run it inside duct in the tray unless a dedicated fiber tray, Make sure the duct carries appropriate plenum or riser ratings.
