GFCI Question jpg.jpg hope this screenshot can be viewed, this is my 1st post.
this is a online training question and it seems like the correct answer would be selection C using the 6' rule, but its not readily accessible.

It is clear to me that the person who wrote this test question believes the correct answer is C. But that is subject to some debate. I think there is no correct answer among the given choices. The 2017 NEC has a clarification on this. The disposal under the sink is further than 6 feet from the sink, under the revised rule.

There was a recent discussion on this forum as to whether a receptacle under the sink could have GFCI, given the question of whether it would be readily accessible. I don't recall whether we reached a consensus. My view is that it is readily accessible.

Welcome to the forum.

I agree with Charlie. Under the 2017 NEC with its clarification the answer is none of the above. Under the 2011 and earlier versions the answer is also none of the above since only counter-top serving receptacles in a kitchen required GFCI protection. IMO even under the 2014 the answer is none of the above.
