Scenario for a residential setup:
Given the floating neutral generators are going to be connected to the same neutral bar back in the sub-panel, does this create an issue with "parallel neutral path"?
- Two manual transfer switches wired into the same sub-panel.
- Two different floating neutral battery generators power each manual transfer switch (one per switch).
- The neutral from each generator is connected to the neutral bar in the sub-panel.
- The ground from each generator is connected to the ground bar in the sub-panel.
- Neutral-Ground Bond is at the main panel (utility service entrance) as per normal residential setup.
- 24 total circuits. 20 of them are a mix of 120V/20AMP and 120V/15AMP split 10/10 across the two manual transfer switches. The remaining four circuits are one 240V/40AMP(A/C), one 240V/30AMP (dryer) and two 120V/20AMP circuit (garbage disposal, garage area).
