When installing paralleling gear equipment for utilizing (3) geneators in lieu of (1) and a large electric fire pump can the fire pump utilize the same paralleing gear as the main service or does it need to separate equipment.
Article 695.3 (a) (1) states that "a fire pump shall be permitted to be supplied by a separate service, or from a connection located ahead of and not within the same cabinet, enclosure, or vertical switchboard as the service disconnecting means.
I cannot find anything that references paralleling gear.
First post thanks
