Multiple Gensets

Alright, i've been lurking around the forum long enough and am sick of reading my code book. Im going to take the plunge and post my question on what seems to be the best source of info i've found on the net.

I'm sitting on a location as we speak with about 5 gensets running. Basically theres a number of structures and equipment set up here (drilling operation) but alot of this equipment came with its own dedicated gen and disconnect panel.

Im kind of confused about how the grounding should be dealt with in this scenario. From my understanding what is usually done is "THE (singular)" generator is grounded and the rest of the equipment is bonded back to the Genset.

If someone were to bond all this equipment together, that would ultimately mean having 5 different generators running at the same time sharing a neutral, right? (via the main bonding jumper in EACH panel). I have no idea if this would be ok or not, what, if any problems may arise from it, or if there is any proper procedure for grounding/bonding all this stuff. I'm sure there's some sort of abstract way of applying this situation to something written in the code book, but its beyond me. Perhaps my electrical theory isn't up to par and i'm missing something obvious.

To top all that off, im a Canadian working in Thailand. So not only is my code book different (?), there's no code to speak of here, but if it comes down to whats written in stone without much logical sense, i have the choice of whatever code i feel like following. In other words, id like to know what theoretically makes the most sense, as opposed to some "commandment" from 100 years ago, or something like that. I'm not the actual electrician here (or anywhere) , but sometimes i become one by default, and i'm trying to do things correctly. Sorry if the question is ridiculous!

Cheers
