I am building a communications console with roll around under counter pedestals on each flank. I plan to use readily availabel Waber type power strips, one attached to each pedestal and two in the main part of the console. I want to have a single power cord going from the console to the wall outlet. Can the "Waber" strips be plugged into a centrally loacted quad box mounted to the cosole? Or do they need to be hard wired? If hard wired will these connections require something like BX or liquid tight?
