I would have to assume ground rods with light poles is a commonly presented post, or at least it seems that way.

That was one of the biggest reasons for my proposal for the 2005 code that would have changed the term equipment grounding conductor to equipment bonding conductor. Many see the word "grounding" and think all they have to do it connect the equipment to a grounding electrode for it to be safe.brian john said:Many in our industry fell that driven electrodes are a SAFE GURANTEE of a shock proof installation.
