In a case where you have a couple service wires going to one disconnect and some going to another. (for example in a apartment building 4 sets to a meter stack and 2 sets to a CT cabinet for the house)

Do all wires have to be the same size?
In my example 5 sets to the meter stacks would work out to the same size as the 2 to the CT cab. But only 6 allowed on the transformer so we need larger 4 to the meter stacks but don't want to increase the size of the other 2.

Little hard for me to follow but if you have multiple services supplied by one transformer, each set of service conductors would only have to be sized to carry the load as noted in 230.42

Multiple service conductors to one building. 4 to a meter stack and 2 to a CT cabinet (that is adjacent to the meter stacks).
The 4 will be four of the same size. (say400A each)
The 2 will be the same size but smaller than the 4. (say 300A each)

You can have different size but you can't parallel smaller than 1/0 [310.10(H)]
