I have a build were I'm adding another 480/1000amp service for a engine dyno. Local engineer says this is a violation due to multiple services for same bldg. What issues should I be concerned about? Plaques/Directories etc?

I can tell you in this area MA and RI that we do this frequently.

Here we would talk to the local inspector and fire dept. to see what they would like.

Typical signage would say "Main Service Disconnect 1 of 2," or "Main Service Disconnect 3 of 6" etc.

Sometimes a legend/map to show where the other switches are and if they are really on top of it the areas served by each service.
